1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to sterlig.com and chat.sterlig.com ("Sterlig," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using sterlig.com (the "Website") and/or chat.Sterlig.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Website or Service. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Irisa, the owner of Sterlig.

2. Description of Service

Sterlig provides a hub for best AI models, allowing users to access and utilize them for chat and other applications. This includes:

  • Access to curated AI models.
  • Chat interface (chat.sterlig.com).
  • Tools for managing interactions.
  • Community features (if applicable).
  • API access (if applicable).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use the Services. If you are under 18, you must have your parent's or legal guardian’s permission to use the Services. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. We reserve the right to request proof of age and parental consent at any time. Sterlig reserves the right to limit the use if the AI model can generate harmful content. The use of some AI models may require users to be above 18 years of age.

4. Account Registration

  • Registration: You may need to register for an account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. We may offer registration through third-party providers (e.g., Google Sign-In). By using a third-party login, you authorize us to access and use profile information from that provider as permitted by the provider's terms and your account settings.

  • Account Security: Keep your credentials confidential. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses from unauthorized use.

  • Account Usage: You are responsible for all activities under your account.

  • One Account Per User: Only one account per user is allowed.

  • Termination: Sterlig can suspend or terminate your account at any time. You can terminate your account at any time by contacting support@sterlig.com.

5. Use of the Service

  • Acceptable Use: Use the Service in compliance with all laws. You agree not to:
    • Use the Service for illegal purposes.
    • Transmit harmful code.
    • Interfere with the Service.
    • Attempt unauthorized access.
    • Generate spam.
    • Generate objectionable content, including hate speech, harassment, or content that promotes violence.
    • Infringe intellectual property.
    • Reverse engineer the Service.
    • Use automated means to access the Service.
    • Misrepresent your affiliation.
    • Violate privacy.
    • Circumvent security measures.
    • Attempt to generate content that violates the law, the Terms of Service of Sterlig, or the AI Model third-party terms. If this happens, your account will be suspended.
  • Prohibited Content: You are responsible for your User Content. You agree not to generate or transmit content that:
    • Violates these Terms or any law.
    • Is harmful, abusive, or objectionable.
    • Infringes any intellectual property rights.
    • Contains viruses.
    • Constitutes spam.
    • Is false or misleading.
  • Monitoring and Enforcement: Sterlig (Irisa) has the right (but not the obligation) to monitor User Content and take action, including removing content, suspending accounts, and reporting to authorities.
    • Content Moderation: Sterlig has the right to monitor the content created by its models.
    • Human Review: Sterlig has the right to assign a human reviewer to the content if needed.
    • Account Suspension: Sterlig has the right to suspend user accounts if policies are not complied with.
    • AI Model Removal: If any AI model can create sensitive or non-compliant information, Sterlig can be deleted without further warning.
    • Report to Authority: Sterlig has the right to report to authorities if the law and terms are not respected.
    • Limitation of liability. Irisa owner is not responsible for any compliant use of the models.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Sterlig's Intellectual Property: The Service and its original content are owned by Irisa and Sterlig.
  • User Content: You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Sterlig a license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your User Content in connection with the Service. However, Sterlig also retains the right to delete and flag the AI model if content is non-compliant.
  • Feedback: Sterlig is free to use any feedback you provide.

7. AI Model Providers and Third-Party Services

  • Third-Party AI Models: Your use of third-party AI models is subject to their terms. Sterlig (Irisa) is not responsible for their performance.
  • Links to Third-Party Websites: Sterlig (Irisa) is not responsible for third-party websites or resources.
  • No Endorsement: Reference to third-party products does not constitute endorsement by Sterlig.
    • AI Model Removal: If any AI model can create sensitive or non-compliant information, Sterlig can delete it without further warning.

8. Subscriptions, Fees, and Payment

  • Subscription Plans: Sterlig offers various subscription plans. Details are on the Website.
  • Free Plan: Sterlig may offer a free plan.
  • Pricing: Pricing is on the Website and may change with notice.
  • Payment: You agree to pay all applicable fees. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor.
  • Recurring Billing: Subscriptions automatically renew. You authorize us to charge your payment method. You can manage your subscription in your account settings.
  • Points System: Some plans include points for accessing AI models.
  • Point Expiration: Unused points expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
  • Zero Points and Plan Downgrade: If you exhaust your points, you will be transferred to the free plan. You must purchase more points or upgrade your plan to continue premium access.
  • Refunds: Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information about our refund terms and conditions.
  • No Refunds for Unused Points: We do not offer refunds for expired points.
  • Subscription Changes: You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
  • Late Payments: We may suspend access for late payments.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for all applicable taxes.
  • Free Trials: We may offer free trials with specific terms.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds for partial periods.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. STELIG DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. STELIG (Irisa) DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF AI MODELS. Sterlig does not ensure the conformity to the law of the models that the users use.

10. Limitation of Liability

STELIG WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. STELIG'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO STELIG IN THE SIX MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Irisa and Sterlig are not responsible for any non-compliant or illegal use you make with the AI models.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Irisa and Sterlig from any claims arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

  • Sterlig may terminate your access at any time.
  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@sterlig.com.
  • Upon termination, your access will cease.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by general principles of international commercial law. We encourage you to contact us directly if you have any concerns or disputes. We will attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiations. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms shall be brought in a forum to be mutually agreed upon, considering the location of the user. The language of the arbitration/mediation shall be English.

14. Changes to These Terms

Sterlig reserves the right to modify these Terms. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Copyright Policy

Sterlig respects the intellectual property rights of others. All content on this site is protected by copyright. If you believe your work has been infringed, please contact us at support@sterlig.com with details of your claim, and we will investigate promptly.

17. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce a right does not constitute a waiver.
  • Severability: Invalid provisions will be struck.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms. Sterlig may assign them.
  • Force Majeure: Sterlig is not liable for delays due to causes beyond its control.
  • Notices: All notices must be in writing and sent to our email address.

  • Export Control: You agree to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations. You will not export or re-export the Service to any country or region subject to export restrictions.
